What? Is this true? A small elected group of individuals can make such a
drastic change. Unbelieveable!!
A German Shepherd is a German Shepherd, no matter the color. Just because they
are a certain color you may not like, they should be able be shown in their
color class, like other breeds are done.
I totally disagree with the GSDCA Board on this one.

I don't know how this could happen Evan--are we on schedule for the
White GSD ??
In addition to voting against giving the Regional Clubs support from the
Purina Funds, Tish allowed a Breed altering vote for the White German
shepherd to take place after 7 board members had left on Sunday morning at
11:30
am to catch flights home.
There were only 10 members left, 4 voted yes, 3 voted no and 3 abstained.
The VOTE WAS TO ALLOW THE WHITE GERMAN SHEPHERD TO SEPARATE AND BECOME
THEIR OWN BREED. It passed with 4 votes. This issue has been discussed for
at least 6 years and always the Board rejected the idea of changing our
Standard or allowing the separation, not this Board with Tish as President it
passed and our breed will change forever. How sad.
