It's sad. And extremely difficult to be aware of all our animals issues. We 
learn something new every day. And each case can be so different. I have an 
people aggressive dog in our obed class (muzzled). The person who has the dog 
kept it because it came to his place 5 years ago & he wanted to give the dog a 
life. We've been working with this dog for some time now. The dog has bit two 
people already that came on to his place. He went after the trainer last Sunday 
after she slightly reprimanded him. It was not pretty. I wonder how long this 
dog (probably a Golden Retriever/Newfie mix or whatever) be given a chance for 
whatever reason/s he's like he is. I can see so much in his eyes & it's sad. My 
guess he has been abused greatly. Kathy Partch

        Thanks, now do I forward this to the owner that shot his dog (TWICE) 
and advise him to watch for tell-tell signs; and yes they were there.
