Well, yes, they probably would. The BOB class animal would
probably be worthy of GC as well, but not having been entered as a
champion, is simply not eligible for that award.

for Best Of Breed...... would
any of the Champions really be worthy of a Grand Champion........?

If you gave a class animal (WD or WB) the BOB they would not be eligible for

No. As far as I know, there are four available two of each sex. When

BOB and BOS gets it, if you agree to award them, then you can give one

to each sex if you wish, and if they are champions. What I don't know
