Your Vet has to wrap it solid like a Doberman puppy ear from the time
of surgery till a couple of weeks when it is completely healed.
Our Vet inserts an absorbant thick wad in the ear to absorb drainage
from the surgery and wraps it like a spike......changes it every 5 days
about three times. When the final wrap is removed the ear is up...but
then he also does Doberman ears and is one of the best at that wrap.
We have a dog that got THREE....from opening gates and then shoving
his head through heavy gates to open and let out other dogs......sigh.......
