Now that it has been introduced at the City Council meeting, the Rugai
ordin
ance has to be reviewed by the licensing committee. If approved, Chicagoans
who own pit bulls would have thirty days to get rid of their pets.

I have not seen the actual ordinance but that is not what is being said in
the papers
According to the papers if you have pitbulls you make keep two but they
must be muzzled when out on leash and other restrictions. They must be
chipped and licensed
also if you do not have one you may not get one
