I am going to try and answer Evan's pointed questions:  (My answers  
will be in parentheses.)

I do wonder who uses the data in the Red Book to plan a breeding?   
(Many people I know find the Redbook a very useful tool.  These are  
the people who are true students of the breed.)


I wonder who shows at futurities and why?  (People show in futurities  
to strut their super dogs and sometimes super egos.  When I show at  
the futurity, it is because the breeder from whom I have bought a dog  
wants me too.  Otherwise, I don't enter.)  (It's a match!)


I wonder who is going to keep up a program that does not seem to be of  
much
value?  (That's easy.  The big-time breeders and some handlers--it  
isn't often that the latter can get the big bucks for a match.)


I wonder who is going to show up at a National if the airlines will  
not  take a dog?  (Again, easy.  The people who live within driving  
distance will show.)


I wonder what Summer did with the wood she got at the futurity this  
year?  (Can't help you there!)


I wonder who put the ram in the ramalana ding dong.  (The same one who  
put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop.)


Not that there is anything wrong with that.  (There is NEVER anything  
wrong with expressing an opinion.)
