The planes may not be big but they are set-up with cargo doors that can
accommodate
a 500 crate. It's not the size of the aircraft but the configuration. And it
looks
like Midwest uses similar aircraft.

We have used Frontier a lot with no problems also.
Me mentioning the change in their ownership is not anything against Frontier.
Frontier has
always taken dogs excess baggage as do all the other airlines......... except
Continental
I just used Frontier two weeks ago with some friends and family to get to
D.C....(
non dog related )
All four junkets on Frontier into D.C. was not exactly a big aircraft.... and
that
is the issue with any
and all of them when it comes to a # 500 crate on connecting flights out of
main
hubs.
Shipping a puppy is really easy compared to an adult required to fly in a # 500.
I've beat this horse to death...........sigh..
We've had good experiences with about all the Airlines......but my point is
getting
to the National
