[ SHOWGSD-L ] Foundation dinner

Sherry Nolan took me as her guest to the Foundation dinner. I have to say it
was the most wonderful Evening we had during the whole national. The room
was decorated for fun. Sue Goedic(sp) put together the picture wall of fame .
Oh the memories the pictures of some of the brightest stars of our world
brought. People who dedicated their life to our breed
The food was wonderful as was the company. Debbie H out did herself and
kept us all laughing hysterically. We got to meet the wonderful sponsor of
this evening along with the two Vets - one from Tufts and one from Purdue who
are doing research on Dm and cancer in our dogs.- all of you who have asked
questions about these diseases could have asked the experts if you had taken
the time to come.. Thanks to every one who took their dogs in to give a blood
sample to help them
I would hope next year the room will be filled with PC members. Your ticket
helps the foundation keep research going- Our breed deserves your help
