If your pure-bred GSD's can't compete with other dogs, mutt or  pure bred, 
is the answer to get rid of the competition????

WOW!!!   How sad.

BTW....If someone comes up to me and asks where to buy a  top obedience 
prospect GSD puppy from, I don't have a clue where to send  them!!  I don't 
know ANYONE who SUCCESSFULLY breeds GSD's for consistently  good WORKING 
ABILITY!!!

---I just couldn't pass this one up.  There are MANY of us who breed  
specifically FOR good working GSD's!  I, for one, even tho I might have  
slightly 
different aims for each litter, am ALWAYS breeding for good working  
ability---whether the litter is intended for herding, obedience, schutzhund, or 
 
something else.  ALL of my dogs are titled in herding, tracking, obedience,  
rally and are therapy dogs.  Some are working in agility as well.   Some 
have done some Schutzhund.  My last litter I specifically bred for  sheep 
herding ability, tested 6 of the 9 puppies at 4 months of age, and ALL  were 
good 
natural herders.
 
There is nothing better than a smart, eager and intelligent GSD who wants  
to work with you, and many of us DO breed for that.  My motto is  "striving 
to produce dogs sound of body and mind".
