Very true. Kibble was brought into the picture out of sheer convenience.
I think it was during the war when it really came onto the Market. During
that time
it was more complicated to keep, and prepare, and hard to store to always have
available enough meat ( for owners, let alone the pets ) <G>
Also the sheer economics of it made kibble more marketable and appealing.
Kibble is a 'substitute' for what Nature intended.
People could only do what they could do then.....and now.....and that hasn't
changed.

Subject: Food Fight.. Or is this scheduled after the National

"An animal's diet is one of the most important aspects of it's biology, and it
helps shape the behavior , evolution and anatomy of the species."... That was a
quote from "Skulls: Structure and Function"... I lost the website add ( sorry)
the article differentiated the structural skulls and jaws of carnivores,
omnivores and herbivores. The Canine is indisputably a carnivore by nature...
This doesn't mean your dog can't or won't eat a jelly donut! , but Mother
Nature made her a meat eater! Period! End of story! On Halloween I'll tell you
more! FB
