I live just outside of Washington, DC We are blessed(?) with 3 large,
international airports - Regan, Dullas, and Baltimore/Washington I had to
ship one of the boys to Miami to my daughter around Xmas time last year
Because he has a relatively long neck, his ears peek out of the top of a
500 crate OK, get a 700!! Very simple, yes? NO First find a shop
that
carries 700's Finally found one dealer that could get one shipped in to
them Then find an airline that can take him non-stop to Miami One
airline customer assistant told me that if I could get him to a bigger
airport, they would be able to get him there with only a 4 hour layover!!!
What bigger airport? Newark!! (Have you ever been to Newark - with Kened=
y
not far away?) After checking with all the airlines I could think of, I
finally drove to Miami, and we (my boy and I) got there safe and sound
It
did take me 2 days each way, but I didn't have to worry about him, and
found motels that let him stay in the room
