BC has fleas, big time. I have never put anything on my dogs. I spray their
environment with a Diazinon very diluted solution, let it dry thoroughly and
that has done the trick [5 acres + kennel]. I've had professionals come into
the house to fumigate, and they left me a bottle... Diazinon.

I'm having a problem controlling fleas right now, never have before. Live in
Houston, TX. Have always had my bets luck with the Advantage product, monthly
treatment. Once I realized I had a problem, I tried Frontline thinking the
fleas has developed a resistance to the Advantage. That didn't work. I still
have fleas.
A friend, and fellow breeder, suggested the dogs may have dry, itchy skin.
That's not the problem. While applying skin/coat conditioner, I examined the
dogs carefully. I have fleas!
The dogs don't have bedding. I live in the country and they all run together
and lay where they plop down. However, I regularly treated the concrete, the
outside walls and the foliage around the house with Pyrethrum, as it knocks
down the mosquitoes, and I'm sure the fleas too.
What should I do? Should I get the 3-in-1 pill that takes care of all? Or,
will dipping be my answer? Please give me your thoughts.
