to jump fence and work a long period..Overangulation and cowhocks are not a
qualities in herding or any type of work. Did you know that working folks
would love to separate the breed because they are so far apart..Am. Shepherd
and German Shepherd..!!
But they do have the most beautiful side gait tought!! JMO

Well, for sure, a lot of German dogs fail to rate *Gut in Seiger
conformation critique, disqualifying them from becoming breeding animals.
Smart as they may be.... Brave as they may be....
And, why in the world would you want to provide an SG or SV dog to the
police as a working dog where it could be killed?
I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that our CKC/AKC dogs do work for police
departments. 6 of mine have. Not any more though... changed my mind after
so many Constables over the years have been awarded Hero Dog Awards with
only a collar and a leash by his side, and a sad story of the gsd that gave
his life.
