That is unfortunate that someone is targeting those sites with a damaging
worm.? I use Facebook & LinkedIn every single day in my job.? If fact, I could
not do my job as well as I do without those sites.? They provide valuable
information and the opportunity to network and search for people, not only
socially but professionally...which is what I do as someone in recruiting &
sales.?? Hopefully the worm doesn't last long (I haven't seen or heard of it
yet, thank goodness!) and hopefully people do not get scared to get on the
sites as they are very useful for many reasons, not just for fun.?

fact, take my name out of your address book every day...if you email me
regularly (or any time), delete me from your address book after you send the

There's a worm going around Facebook now--and MySpace and more as well.
It travels with your emails and infects your friends.....it's called the
Koobworm. It and others like it are targeting all the social networking
sites... Koobworm follows your cookies and your emails......and has
something to do with AOL videos, etc.
Some people have nothing better to do that figure out a way to screw
things up.......... and altho I've told Facebook at least a dozen times not
to send me any more invitations to be a friend, I still get half a dozen or
more a day..
there's another social networking site called
Linkedin...............just as bad.
If I sound grouchy, sorry...but I need the things on my computer and
don't want them gone because someone else has a worm they've sent me just
because they thought it would be fun to be on Facebook.
