I wish they had done this sooner.
When I took Chimes to Canada, I was asked to take her out of her crate, so
they could examine it. I took her out, and she slipped her collar and
headed to the other end of the terminal. I started to chase her, and then
realized I had no chance. She ran the full length, looked back to see if I was
chasing her. When she saw me standing at the counter, about a block back,
she looked around, checked out the 'freaked out passengers" and ran back to
me wagging her tail.
She went with me to Canada. Tedi had gone on ahead with Liz, (as best I
remember), so I was on my own. She went Winner's Bitch, and Select. She
almost remained in the airport. I figured if she was so dumb to run
away............. Well, you know where that is going.
I did wait for her. Chimes as well as Tedi.
