Fleas have evolved and are becoming immune to most of the different
"potions" we use.
While Comfortis worked reasonably well, it made a couple of my dogs
extremely nauseous and
was very hard getting them back eating.
One of the newer products is Vectra and I am pleased with how it is working
so far. Been using it for about 6 months. Not cheap either but made a
deal with my vet if I buy 3 - 6 packs at a time she strikes a deal with me.
There have been reports of skin eruptions with the product with dogs with
sensitivities so be forewarned. DE just no longer an option down
here...between the drought last year and wet spring the pesties are in full
bloom
and we need a stronger defense.
