Cathy Dutra and I drove up Sac and both registered our opposition.
The bill will have a final hearing scheduled for the 24th of
April......starts at 9AM.
Each member in opposition to this bill needs to put in a call.....it's very
simple.
Call to the Committee phone number which is (916) 319-3301. (Assembly
Committee on Business and Professions )You just say you want to be listed in
Oppostion to AB 1634. You will be asked where you live and nothing more.
A brief letter of opposition can be emailed (blind copies to make it simpler
yet) to each of the committee members adding impact.

An article in this morning's Sentinel makes it sound as if the opposition is
actually being heard. This is the time to put on the pressure. If this
should pass...the local governments can put any and all restrictions to the
legislation that they please. That's the scary part for me.
