This kind of reminds me of the days of Lance when so much was tightly inbred
on him. He was a great dog, but there was a lot of crap (oh, I shouldn't say
that..I love all GSDs and it isn't their fault who bred them!) that resulted
from wrong breedings because people wanted the "big winner". Eventually it all
leveled out. Remember the ads that advertised "Lance Free" lines? That was
funny to me.
Today I see a lot of the same thing going on. I am just waiting for the ads
that say "_____" free lines. It seems a little boring to me; all the same
bloodlines, but I do think that we will see a change within a few years. It
just takes time. Cynthia

These people are not breeders they just want a winner and the breed means little
or nothing to them. They are in every breed of show animals. We have always had
them but never to the organized extent we do right now.

This is true, the majority of breedings anymore have the same sire or are
close related to that sire. Someday there is going to be nowhere to go in our
breeding program :-(
