I bet yall are surprised to here from me as I usually don't have much to
say.
Donna, I love it when you get mad, it turns me on. Did you ever think about
getting married?
Like Donna, this stuff makes me sick. Politics in the US these days is out
and out vicious and it is no better up here. Every where you turn, someone
is trashing someone else. I don't know if it is getting worse or I am
getting more cynical..
An old friend of mine once said "the only way some people can make their own
light shine is to put others out"
When I first joined this list back when it first started, it didn't seem
this bad but at my age my memory aint that good.
At GSDGA election time things get so nasty, I am surprised that anyone would
offer to run. Just think of all the great people that we have lost.Some
through no fault of their own like Tom C and John D and I could go on and
on. But many are still with us but refuse to get involved in this mess like
Paul Root who is a barrel of logic and information. We never hear from Fred
Migliore any more. Hell, even Frank Tate made sense every now and then. And
I am told that other breeds are worse than ours. Is it any wonder that dog
shows are going in the tank. It is bad enough that this is no longer a poor
mans game but why are we doing our best to destroy each other.I have been
involved in this breed for 48 years and I have never seen it so ugly.
This stuff has to stop (but I know it won't) before what we all love with
all our heart and souls is no more.
I could go on forever but I better stop before I get myself in some real
trouble.

Ok MY RESONSE...first of all, being avid dog owners, breeders, handlers,
conditioning teams, whatever...how about "Protectors of our Breed" Let me
say
once again in the past thirty days I am so disappointed with people and
accusations and assumptions and statements...that I truley need to sign off
this list and just go back
to the old days of not having immediate information...I for one would have
maybe 5 people at my back, after reading everything, if I was in need/having
a problem/
or in a fight. Maybe it's my Italian upbringing of loyalty...maybe it was
just good old fashioned upbringing period, I don't know, but...wow, people
David was right
in his post, Hellllllllllllllllooooooooooooooo anyone home??? Did this lynch
mob get enough heads in the sack for this last lynching??? Did you earn

in the right group or click? Did you not think before you wrote...I know
it's taken me 2 days to write this without going "off" and getting kicked
off the list period~
Patti clearly said the handler gave it to the animal 2 hours before
judging...well since she was benched with the GSD people and she named
almost everyone
hanging out...except this "top handler" and since this animal was going to
the group...I GUESS IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIUS TO FIGURE OUT WHO AND WHAT
DOG THEY WERE INSINUATING NOW DOES IT?" Now for all you people who say, if
the dog was that sick that it needed Flagyl to go in the ring...it shouldn't
of
been shown...well, <deep breath> and I am so mad I am shaking so it's not
easy to write this...bear with me...PEOPLE IN GLASS HOUSES SHOULDN'T THROW
STONES"...if you ever have the great opportunity of going to the Garden and
winning the Breed...after only starting a specialing career, as of the
middle of January and
win a breed against some nice dogs...not ones you look at and laugh at and
think they used to call these clunckers now we call them Champions...but
good ones (that's a compliment to all who showed) you would then know....if
you have the right to even make that statement. I for one when Chyna went,
had to take immodium and my prescribed stomach stuff, because it is so nerve
wracking and over whelming...imagine the dogs who have no clue as to what is
going on, they are used to going to shows, in thier own vehicle, put out in
thier own Xpen, in a field, now they are driven into NYC, hey I lived there,
I know, the hustle the bustle and the noise. Yes it's a great test on
temperment and nerves. I know I failed, Leslie wanted to kill me and my
friends had to hold onto me...Now there's a change of water, flashing
camera's, people in your face, the dog's face all day, no rest, a bug goes
around the show, you can't leave, your BENCHED, the dog get's a loose
stool....do you now say.....
.......TO THE OWNER, look she has some loose stool, I don't think we should
go in the group, but we can have fun watching cause we are stuck here
anyways....thanks for spending all this money and time...have a good flight
home...but the bitch is acting normal in every other way. She had to go in
for private pictures which they did with every breed winner ... in a room on
a table you would eat on, slippery, not a grooming table and have all of the
press flashing away...sit there, have people interview you and her. This
gets old people, not just for us but them...loose stool is nothing .... but
instead the handler thinks well, we don't want her SHITTING all over the
carpeting on national TV as they announce the German Shepherd Dog...with the
world watching...so he gives her some Bil Jac which you use for stuffing
animals, being she didn't want to eat, (typical woman) and then the Flagyl.
So now there is something in her stomach, which is good for energy for the
evening...and some flagyl so our whole breed isn't embarrassed....as we all
watched. The bitch has a fantastic attitude, doesn't need anything to pep
her up or slow her down as insinuated...how do I know this, cause I was
there the first time he showed her in Canada and went GVX...and then there
in Utah when she went 2nd select...and MATURITY VICTRIX...the bitch feeds
off of who she loves, at those times it WAS HER OWNER...who probably needed
something to calm down...not the dog...and then now even only after a short
time of living with her handler, she now adores...HE
needed something to calm him down, he was a nervous wreck...who wouldn't be
with a unseasoned new special...I was a wreck with Chyna who also was a Can
GVX and select and BIS winner...they are dogs, you never know how they are
gonna act, react and the GARDEN isn't a time or place to just see....
The sad part is...that everyone for the most part was so excited and proud
of our winner...till that post came on. Don't tell me for one minute no one
thought it was her...cause I call BS...
Now for the biggest BS...Patti didn't take it upon herself to call the
handler...THAT IS A LIE....the handler called her since he knew her since he
was 9 or 10 years old and asked her what it was that she saw and WHY didn't
she come to him herself...or go to the Superintendant or REP ??? Patti tell
the WHOLE STORY....don't keep trying to make yourself look better amoungst
your peers...........TRUTH IS TRUTH... Also Patti what is so wrong with the
whole picture is...why wait...take a ProActive action and
do something ... would you watch a child get molested and say you were so
horrified that you couldnt' beleive your eyes and you just stood there????
till days later and then call the news then???
Now that you ruined a great day for so many people including friends and
people I call Family...tell everyone what you told Lenny on the phone, what
you would of done if your dog was lucky enough to win the breed and had
diahear....I recall the answer was the same
thing............HUUH>>>>>>>>>>>>and yes I know people my spelling and
grammar may be off...but I am mad as hell.
Now admin kick me off, I don't care cause if this is what we are on this
list for...I have better things to do...dogs to get ready for Fut/Mats and
kick ass with~
Lenny asked me not to write...cause he knew how mad I was, I met him
yesterday on the road to give him MY DOG...to go to allbreeds to finish (I
hope)... I asked him about this
immediately...and read to him what was going on...he was so hurt by all
this...especially from the original poster and YOU know it. He feels for
Kris and Frank, everyone who has been involved by sticking up for the
situation because who wants to see a MISUNDERSTANDING TURN INTO SUCH A BIG
FIGHT AND DISCUSSION. Yes it was hurtful and distracted from the actual
win....so I don't see how this was Proactive to any discussion in a positive
light. Forgive me for speaking out of turn since I wasn't there, but I know
my friend & handler. I also would do this for anyone I felt was FAMILY OR
FRIENDS. Thank you to those like Kathy Tank David Mazzoni, Zoe and Julie who
saw through this and didn't think the worst. I spoke to George on this this
AM and he was furious with how people go to the worst and ASS-ume and he
even said, this is a sport, you prepare for so long to get ready for
something like that, if you were doing Nascar and your engine blew ... you
would go get another engine, not
conceed and say oh well. I know this is bigger cause it involves a living
breathing creature, our dogs, but...you do what you gotta do...with what you
are dealt...I guarentee most people in the Garden had diahreah and took
something for it...I wonder how they would feel about this crap (no pun
intended)...
And one last point...Lenny set up with the GSD people, he chose that, he
could of gone with his buddies in the handlers area, and just hung out there
with them...but no
he wanted to be with all of the GSD people...to be part of them...and this
is what happens. What a group...oh yeah and Patti didn't you say you stayed
with the GSD people so that you didn't have to be with the Malinois people
bitchin about judging....so instead you start all this...things that make ya
go hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Pissed off NYer at heart!
