I didn't know you were a FB user? That is Awesome!!
Then hopefully you will be soon on the Fans of the GSDCA site , we would
love to see photos of
your furkids..it is a fun and safe place just to share, about the dogs,
upcoming litters..events
all good, all friendly. Look forward to seeing you and others "LIKE" the
page!!!
The reason I posted is because the tone of your post gave the impression
that suddenly
FB users or would be users are going to be "at risk" or "under attack"
This is not true.
Facebook has known about it and handled it since 2010...which is why it WAS
confined to only 45,000 users mostly
in Europe (some in Brasil) and mostly old, outdated, invalid accounts....
We get "critters " alerts from you regularly ,( weekly almost) as you call
them from the List, but we don't panic because COMMON SENSE and
a feel for the big picture wins out. If an email from the List looks
suspicious, we just don't open it..immediate delete.
Same with Facebook..COMMON SENSE..if it looks weird or too good to be true
DON'T OPEN. It is the new age,
and you have to look and be aware...on any two way website, anywhere,
public or private.
I just didn't want people to get panicked because they think, wrongly,
that they are in jeopardy on Facebook.
Simply not true.
But we DO invite EVERYONE to come and check us out it is a fun, place, and
non threatening... it is all about loving the German Shepherd Dog Club of
America and the breed, regardless of
venue or origin.
