At this stage of the game, the hell with the cost!!! Take care of the members
in Canada. The GSDCA has known about these problems for years. It is time to

The good news is that the numbers are definitely known, and are good. The
other part of the good news is that there was an interesting plan formulated
by Molly Snider to get the Canadian ballots to the members there, and back,
by use of FedEx and a Canadian member point-person. The less than good news
is that, from what I have heard, Bill Pfeiffer decided that "he" would not
authorize the expense, so now they are discussing the possibility of faxing
the ballots back and forth. FedEx, while not cheap, would be perfectly
compliant under our By-laws, so long as the normal ballots and envelopes
were inside. Faxing ballots would be a total violation, and impossible to
defend,
