Just a personal word about Evan.....
He has strong opinions and shares them easily, and not everyone agrees with
him - I don't!
You see, in so many philosophical ways, we are polar opposites.
He is a liberal - I am a conservative.
He is agnostic - I am a Christian, in fact a retired pastor.
He drives a Harley - I love the Gold Wing.
He..... well, you get the idea.....
Any yet, the more I am around him, the more I like him, in fact love him
like a brother.
He has a heart bigger than most anyone I know. He is always willing to set
and discuss the things we differ on and I never come away feeling demeaned,
rejected, or frustrated. In fact, I come away stimulated and glad for the
discussion.
He has added so much to this list with his wit and wisdom. His presence at a
dog show always means some fun and, before the show is over, someone is
going away with the shirt off his back. He gives so freely! He has taken
cases for many of us and did us proud. I am still a conservative Christian,
but I am Evan's friend,.... more, I am an Evan Fan!
Come on folks - let's see about 1,000 CARDS at the above address by the end
of the week.
