Very well written Laura. You are right, the American GSD by and large is
having a crisis in the public eye right now, and has had. We (collective we)
have gotten too dark and too specialized...the US public, and worldwide
public wants black and tan black and red, saddlebacks......we have come away
from
it and with the specialty dogs, we are breeding dogs that only other
specialists want.
