Hi all ---
FYI -- this entry thing. We just had 5 shows in 4 days, 2 all-breeds
(Thursday & Friday) specialty show Friday late afternoon and 2 more all-breeds
Saturday and Sunday. This is called the Steel Valley Cluster. That being
said --- these 4 all-breed clubs are great to work with and get specialty
judges for our breed at their 4 shows. They have a criteria for the
judging, of course, which we follow (or try to). A lot of times I am able to
get
German Shepherd judges that do more than German Shepherds and they will
normally give them the additional breeds when possible, which is a win-win
for all concerned.
The shows just concluded today and we ended up with 3 ---- 4 point majors
and 2 --- 3 point majors, after absentees etc. Like the saying, "if you
build it they will come"..........we work at it, usually with success and
it is a win-win situation for all concerned. So, sometimes it is what you
are offering in a short span of time and saves a lot of different travel
time and expense when grouped together.
