All of whom emphatically voiced their dismay, disgust, distress, and disbelief over this matter, and others surely are nodding their heads in approval while reading the opinions of many that have voiced great concern over this issue. Some may have the bravado to classify it as bitching, however, it would be careless to underestimate the level of distaste that many have perceived regarding this issue. One thing that is clearly palpable from the majority of the membersâ?? reactions is that they are â??P.O. â??dâ?? that this happened, and it won't go away until itâ??s fixed! In fact, if one were to venture a guess that if put to vote by the membership today, the Nays would prevail by a very conservative estimated margin of 80%-20%. So then, if one believes that this is the case, why was it such a difficult decision for the BOD when it seems so clear to the membership? Are we to believe that these high functioning Board Members possess great vision, unveiled facts, and with their profound clarity, know what is best for all? Mind you, all without the benefit of an intelligent, or even plausible, explanation. Sorry folks, that corny Joe Friday bit didn't quite hit the mark for me! â??BS!â?? Are we to believe that given all of the attorneys, savvy business men and women, entrepreneurs, insurance professionals, etc., that have previously served or are currently serving on the Board never recognized until now the great liability that existed for their individual and collective decisions? Is it now, and only now (after the Hunte vote) that we are to believe the unveiling of this great disparity in insurance coverage is a viable justification? â?? BS!â?? Most recently, we are now to believe that this is â??no problemâ?? as the BOD is quickly working towards rectifying this matter. In short, they will basically change the Bylaws, inserting specific language thus â?? targeting/excludingâ?? this newly admitted member (i.e. Andrew Hunte), and simply kick him out! Well, this negligent and nonsensical concept sounds more fraught with litigation than not letting him join in the first place! We are now to believe that the same Board members that were deeply influenced by personal litigation initially will suddenly now have the strength of their conviction to â??Just Say Noâ?? ! â??BS!â?? We have even heard such nonsense as â??we should lock arms with Hunte Corp. in an effort to fight against anti-dog/breeder legislation given their deep pocketed lobbyists and vast resourcesâ??. Hey, while we're at it, maybe we could engage â??Daâ?? Enron executives to manage our investment portfolio. Brilliant! â??BSâ??! Despite the cloak of secrecy, we now know who voted Yes and/or No on this issue. Many of these No voters have substantiated their position in writing to this list. Conventional thinking would tell one that they are being truthful with their assertions. So then, where the hell are the Yes voters? As you know, only one brave soul has come forward with her reasons to cast a yes vote. While remorseful and genuinely concerned, a very well thought-out and truthful response was conveyed! Moreover, the honesty implied, coupled with a timely response, has appeared to maintain the trust of the membership for this individual. However, are the rest of you so remiss in your business skills that we are to believe that this individualâ??s response is a blanket statement for all of you? Or should it be apparent that a basic explanation, much less a plan of action, is not required? â??BS!â?? We have all heard the standard marketing infomercial that Andrew Hunte is a really nice guy that runs a highly profitable business with a beautifully sterile facility, with a great new incinerator, and shiny trucks, etc. etc. blah, blah, blahâ?¦â?¦.. And oh, by the way, he really "loves" his GSD! Therefore, don't judge him based on the business he runs as itâ??s two separate issues, the man and/or his business! Sorry folks, no matter how you slice it, Andrew Hunte or Hunte Corp. (the largest puppy miller, broker, agent, etc. in the USA), is one entity! It is my understanding that this guy brokers so many puppies he purports to need an incinerator. Why would anyone need an incinerator? Do you think they are burning leaves in there or just maybe, their unsold product? You can't separate the two! Itâ??s like polishing an old sneaker. Polish away, at the end of the day, itâ??s still a sneaker. Or better yet, itâ?? s like dressing up road kill in an Armani suit, it still stinks! â??BS!â?? Similar to all positions of leadership/management, a great deal of responsibility is implicitly expected. With this responsibility comes accountability. The BOD is ultimately responsible for the outcome of this decision. Specifically, those who voted in favor of the Hunte membership are clearly accountable, individually and collectively! So tell me, what happens when leaders, politicians, managers, employees screw up in epic proportion? Ah, just ask old Donny Rumsfeld! They get fired (not to be confused with incinerated), or they are quickly asked to tender their resignation! Many times, for the sake of PR, one individual, the â?? mouth-pieceâ?? of the botched plan, is offered up for the cause to â??fall on the swordâ?? ! Hmmmâ?¦â?¦..â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦.no BS here! Don't be misled to believe that a quick fix will solve this issue, folks. The vote must be nullified! The image of â??ourâ?? club is now damaged, and our sport is at greater risk than ever!
