It was posted today that the last member count was 2880, so 47.7+%
voted. And then there were those incorrect and blank ballots that
were returned, too. Why would anybody return a blank ballot? Making
a statement that will never be heard?
I wonder how many bother to open the Alerts that are sent out by GSDCA
(Tish, The BOG, Updates, etc.)
I know when I sent out the CaRPOC newsletter, approximately 60% of
the recipients OPEN the newsletter (yes, you can find out how many and
who:-). That is very successful for a NPO (Industry standard). Most
NPO newsletters or "alerts" fall in the 30-33% open rate. I try to
figure why people subscribe to something, then don't open it, but
that's beyond me.
In "my" case, hundreds of the newsletters get forwarded from the
original subscriber, so I am thrilled with that and just leave it
alone. <VBG>
