I do not appreciate your accusation...not one bit. If you knew me or
anything about me, you'd know that I avoid anything to do with the
AKC every chance I get. No, I do not want the AKC involved.
However, those of us who are involved with other breeds know how the
AKC has involved itself...and if you realized that Lew has consulted
AKC over and over again about recent problems, Margy's lawsuit is
well known to the AKC, and the person who drafted the charges against
the Exec. Committee was consultlng on an almost daily basis with the
AKC as well.
I am trying to make people realize that this may not be an issue
that will go away, as Lew has told us it will, when a new set of
Officers and Board are elected. You can keep thinking positive,
which is a good thing...I just want people to be aware that there is
precedent for the "sky falling," as you choose to put it. I keep
repeating the warning in hopes people will stop feeding the
frenzy.......I happen to think it's better than burying my head in
the sand.
