There was a 4 point major in dogs and I know at least on Sunday, the judge crossed the major over to the bitch so she received 4 points also. The site was a community park - few other people around and lots of nice, flat ground. Ellen Penington out did herself as hospitality chairman. There was coffee and doughnuts each morning for exhibitors. Lunch on Saturday was "yard long subways" with Tres Leche Cake for dessert. On Sunday the club provided grilled cheeseburgers, barbecue chicken, fried chicken and all the trimmings. Everyone left to drive home with a "full tummy". There was also a judges dinner Saturday night that was donated by an antonymous benefactor. Excellent stewards and helpfull club members , capped off by PERFET weather made for a memorial weekend. People from Texas, Arizona, and New Mexcio should definitely put this club on your lists of "musts to attent" next year. Thank You El Paso members for a grand weekend ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2011.
