Laurie I agree with this 100% . We need to continue to maintain a system of
checks and balances..if not, the Board will become a 'self serving
dictatorship. This is exactly why we sent term limits in our government.
Any sitting Board member or newly elected Board member who has even
entertained the idea of doing away with terms limits is thinking only of
themselves and furthering their own cause..could you imagine what would
have happen if the last group in charge would have voted to do away with
term limitations for themselves??? There would have been outrage by some
of the very ones who are now currently officers and on the Board. the only
rule change we need is getting rid of the weighted ballot..simple popular
vote..most votes gets intersex..and so on. the weighted ballot has been
implemented long enough to prove that it doesn't work..it is confusing to
most..and it doesn't reflect the wishes of the voters.C.Grainger
