We don't need the exhibitors to critique the judges. That would simply
be a " you did great if you put my dog up" kind of thing. What we need
is a judge's critique of their placements. AKC will not allow this at the
AB shows, but most specialty clubs do have this. I, for one, would
really like to hear the judge justify awarding winners to a dog rolling its
eyes, a dog stepping on his own tail, etc. Hmmmmm.

did not survey well the problem, in the owners mind, was not the animal but
the person doing the survey. A similar thing will happen with a critique of
judges. The supposed problem will not be the judge being critiqued but will
be the person doing the critique. One of the best systems is the German
system of continued education and observations of judging. We have a
different mindset than the Germans and our judging system involves over 150
breeds while the German system, which I admire, has only one breed to be

"Tower List"...all full time faculty teachers were listed and
critiqued...that book keep me away from some bad teachers.......when I start
teaching full time in March I am going to be watched, reviewed and critiqued
constantly...and If I do not do a
