I was setting in the stand on Saturday, knowing that we were going to the
dinner and that Ed would speak, and having heard him on several occasions I
also knew he was going to roast the entire GSDCA and probably the world in
language that would get some laughs and some reactions.
I watched him handling the dogs and the handlers and doing a quite thorough
job, making sure that everyone was looked at and included. The picture that
came to mind was a Halloween scene.... Here comes the big bad wolf - but it
is really a mask. Behind it is a teddy bear.
