I have an air purifier. That works great. I have 10 dogs in/out of the
house daily. I tiled all my floors. That helps too. This past weekend I had
a
houseful of people in my house, including some non-dog people. They were
relatives in for my daughter's wedding and not shy about telling you your house
stinks, LOL! Comments I got were that if they hadn't met the dogs, they
wouldn't
know I had them. However, winter is a different story. Wet dogs and a
closed house can get pretty smelly. I use Frebreeze and lots of Orange
Pine-sol.
I also put moving blankets on all the fabric furniture so I can wash it
easily. Not pretty but it works. You can always take them off when you have
company and have no odors on the furniture. I am lazy when it comes to
housecleaning, LOL! So, the less work and easier I can make it works for me
:-)
