I don't necessarily want to get into this discussion, but I can understand
Werner's point of view. Instead of having all the stuff that dog food has in
it, a dog on the prey model diet (only meat), might have an easier time
digesting STRICT pure protein and bone. Raw food also causes the digestive
tract to produce healthy enzymes that can break down the bone and meat.
Raw food, plus a combination of the right medication might be the right thing
since there are fewer "other" ingredients involved. You would just have to
switch your protein sources carefully for a while. No veggies as they are a
little more work for dogs to digest (if properly prepared) and definately no
carbs...
JMHO... Not looking for a war today.
