[ SHOWGSD-L ] EPI Help

Had a call from a person who took in a GSD several years ago and her girl has
been diagnosed with EPI. Her pancreas level was 0.6 with normal being 5.0 to
35.0. This all started very suddenly. They did all the blood work and while
waiting for it to come back the vet started her on forti flora, prozyme and
B-12 injections. Now that the tests are positive she will be on pancrezyme
which is quite expensive. They are ordering from Dr. Foster and Smith but we
are wondering if anyone has any ideas on where this medicine can be ordered
more reasonably. The price is about $129 for a months supply plus all her
supplements.
They will do anything to keep this dog alive; but she is literally starving
now. Hopefully things will turnaround once she is on her treatment. Any help
would be appreciated and I will forward it on to her. I know nothing about this
problem.
