Exactly........one of the symptoms of EPI is a dog that acts like it is
starving all the time. They must do a TLI test on an empty stomach. I had to go
out for a while because I have to get a couple of things for my new litter of
puppies but I will contact you privately tonight and give you my phone number
so that we can talk...

I have never heard of an EPI dog not eating? EPI dogs are always STARVING and
will eat anything, including non-food items.
Are you sure they did a cTLI test? See if you can find out the result.

I was contacted by someone who owns a puppy sired by my male,�the dam
belonged
to a friend of mine who this person purchased the puppy from.��
�
Her 9 year old bitch tested positive for�EPI.� The dog had quit eating and
after
an emergency trip and three days of vet care they got her eating again, tests
were run and she tested low in albumin.� Then, she stopped�eating again,
and
this time, she was taken�to the University of Illinois vet school and they
ran
all sorts of tests, finally did the EPI test and she tested positive.��
�
I have NO experience with EPI (thankfully) but would like to give this owner
some information that some of you might have.� She is now on a Grain Free
Kibble
along with Viokase.� The University did say this was�rare�to be diagnosed
this
late, at 9 years of age.
�
I appreciate any advice, private is fine, I will be forwarding this information
to her.
