I have an EPI positive male who just celebrated his 13th birthday. His feed is
the following:
Morning:
3 Cups Purina EN, mixed with canned Pedigree Chicken & Rice(2 heaping
Tablespoons)and a piece of boneless, skinless chicken breast which I microwave.
Mix with enough water to moisten all of the dry food. I do not soak the food.
Two teas. of Pancrezyme sprinkled over the food. I let the food sit for about
3-5 minutes to let the Pancrezyme begin to work. I used Viokase for many years
and it worked fine, but the cost was about $50.00 more that Pancrezyme.
Evening:
2-3cups of Purina EN, canned Pedigree Chicken & Rice, sprinkle Pancrezyme on
top, mix.
Treats:
Iams Large Dog biscuits 3-4 per day.
IMPORTANT;
Low fat and low fiber. Plenty of fresh water at all times.
This has worked for my guy for 10 years and he has normal stools.
