PLEASE read the facts below. 
 
 Indeed, there are no unfound arrows on this list.  To the contrary Joan Fox 
WAS removed from the position. Secondly, the by laws (rules:policies and 
procedures) have been broken.  

Lew, you have done an amazing job as President; just read this factual 
information and then tell membership, the list, those who attended the meeting, 
and myself that we are mistaken!  


 I am QUOTING the Budget and Finance Chair, The Recording Secretary, and The By 
Laws of The GSDCA.  How much more factual can this be?

Recommendation that was approved by the board...you will see it in the April
2007 minutes.

Recommendations:

The Audit Committee has agreed unanimously that based on good business
practices, and sound financial management that Show Site and Board Meeting 
Selection
Site Committee will again become the responsibility of the National Show Chair

My notes for the Minutes say, as part of the verbal report of the Budget and  
Finance Committe, that the Audit Committee agreed unanimously that Show Site  
and National Selection Site become the responsibility of the National Show 
Chair. My recollection is consistent with Evan's. This recommendation was 
delivered together with another, relating to utlizing the same election company 
and the same auditor as last year, and with proposed budget numbers. The Board  
did vote - on all three items as one motion. Four Board members voted against 
approval, one abstained, the others voted in favor.

GSDCA By Laws State "
Article VI, SECTION 2. Termination.
All appointed assignments terminate with the appointment and approval of a 
successor Chairperson. Any chairperson, committee or committee member appointed 
by the Board of Directors may be terminated by majority vote of the full 
membership of the Board of Directors. Written notice of such termination shall 
be given to the terminated chairperson, committee or committee member and the 
Board of Directors may appoint successors to those persons whose service has 
been terminated."
