I have absolutely no problem with ALL testing for anything.....and certainly
would not
discourage it as long as it is done properly and fairly.
I just don't think they should "pick out" which dogs to test. ALL or
none....and I think
it should cover drug testing as well as dyeing if they are going to do any
testing.
How this would be done I don't know.
I just hate to see a post from someone that is new that seems to think it is
common
among all exhibitors. That is discouraging to anyone.
Most of us in the trenches of doing all the work ourselves are too busy to be
bothered
with what it takes to dye or drug a dog .... let alone know how ......or even
see it done.
I'm not even very picky about the shampoo I use. They are scrubbed and very
clean,
brushed and blow dried and toe nails clipped and teeth clean.......and I'm done.

let your sense of smell be your guide ...any woman (or man) that has ever
highlighted their hair , could recognize the smell immediately, even after a
dog is bathed.
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY PRIVATE OUTRAGED EMAILS WE GET ABOUT DYED
DOGS???? AND HOW ABOUT GOING *PUBLIC* WITH YOUR CONCERN......I DON'T GET WHY
NO ONE STANDS UP AND CALLS BS ON THIS????? Why do we tiptoe around this?
So much anger over it, yet nobody has the testicles to stand up and call
FOUL on this practice. Please do NOT agree with me in private, if you are
not willing stand up PUBLICLY AN CALL THE GUILTY OUT ON THIS....
I witnessed personally, it was done IN THE OPEN in stalls with no curtains
on tables at the FT COLLINS NATIONAL for anyone to see or smell. The crap
dripping off their "stars" These two dogs went Select...along with others
whose dye jobs are so bad and so careless, and maybe it's because the people
involved are "above " it and untouchable....... It is pervasive in some
kennels and with some handlers/ conditioners...ENOUGH!!!!!!!!
IT IS FRAUD, NOTHING ELSE.
So when you breed to a Black and Red Dog, or get a puppy from a black and
red bitch, you better make damn sure what you are really getting. I am sick
to death of people getting white-ish and cream dogs from "BLACK and RED "
popular dog or bitch of the day....
ENOUGH is ENOUGH....DYE TESTING , DRUG TESTING...THE GERMANS GET IT, THEY
CHANGED THE FACE OF THE BREED IN ONE YEAR, THEY TOOK NO PRISONERS...ARE WE
AS SMART?
DRUG AND DYE TEST AT OUR BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR........CLEAN IT UP,
FOLKS....
WE ARE CLEAN.....ARE YOU? (and you know who you are)
