I had not heard that. But I like it, especially with some insurance companies
banning certain breeds of dog. I once spoke to Dobe rescue. They had so many
dogs coming in they were forced to put dogs down for lack of space. Insurance
companies are forcing Dobe owners to give up the dogs.
We have State Farm and they don't care one way or the other near as I can
figure. I have even taken one dog at a time to the local office. They get
such attention!!!

I was just reading the above comments by Sheila and remembered that one of
my puppy buyers was at the CGC test this weekend. She said that her insurance
company will insure households with ANY breed of dog as long as they are CGC
certified. Have any of you heard of this? Actually, it is a smart move by
the insurance companies - any dog owner that takes the time to train their
dog to pass CGC certification is proving that they are responsible dog owners
and that will lower the chances of a lawsuit.
