On Saturday, Hessen's Cyd Charisse of Mariner "CYD" picked up another Major
under Judge Ken Tank at the GSDC of Long Beach Specialty. "CYD" was handled

On Sunday, Hessen's Mielikki of Mariner "MIELI" also picked up another Major
under Judge Joan Fox. "MIELI" was handled to perfection by her good friend

Thank you to the Judges and for all the ringside support and wonderful
comments on our girls. Huge congratulations to the other winners, too. There
were some really beautiful dogs and bitches at these shows.
Claremont, CA is a great show site and the club provided plenty of free food
and drinks and also free catalogs as promised by Evan. We had some drama
early Sunday morning when a thief tried to steal an SUV with dogs in it.
Nancy McDonald ran over to the SUV and yelled at the thief until he gave up
and vacated the vehicle. Then she was joined by Amy Kaser Nicoles and the
two of them chased the thief and were able to get the license number of the
getaway vehicle. You don't mess with dogs when these two heroic handlers are
around!!
