I love my review, and thank god for Gail, I'm sure the board will do their
best to speed up the delivery of it, but I doubt they can speed up Canada

Every time I read about a complaint over the Review, I realize how
important it is that we have Gail. Yes, the issues have been late, and
maybe they
are not as large as they could be. But, the quality is so far over what has
happened at times in the past, that I just cringe when I read the
complaints.
I remember before we had Gail, and we tried to use some professor of
journalism, and what a mess it was. Half the ads had to be refunded, and
the
corrections just got worse and worse. We tried that person because the
editor of the
Review had been found to be billing the club for things that some thought
were not proper. (I never did find reason to go with that, as I thought
she
had done a great job, even with the problems.)
I do wonder what we would do without Gail. She is a treasure to this club,
and while I would like the Review to be bigger, faster, more on time and
more
interesting to me, I know it is a great publication, and I for one thank
Gail
for all her hard work.
Why not take the date off the magazine, and just send it when it is worth
sending? That would work for me.
