we work? It is a complex organization and difficult to explain it here.

Perhaps while there you might like to make a donation or buy a ticket on that
awesome bronze statue? Aren't I subtle?
BASICALLY:
We are not supported by the GSDCA although we do annually ask ( actually we
beg) for a donation. We do appreciate the PC allowing us to garner some funds
by the inclusion of a donation space on the membership form. We
work independently as a 501C as does the AGS Charitable Foundation . We rely on
the monies donated by German Shepherd lovers and the sales of our calendars and
the gifts of other items we offer for sale at the National.
I have been talking with Dawn for quite some time as to how to work together
and our group has been working on this and most especially at our phone
conference meeting this week. Linda Kury and Dawn are now discussing this all
in more depth. As our functions are quite different this will require much
thought.
I hope this clears up some points.

I thought I was the only person thinking along these lines, but it really
has been something I've wanted to ask about.
I just couldn't figure out how to approach it, especially to the PC. One
reason I thought I'd mention the PC's stuff
is because Dawn gives wonderful accounts, easily done on line, but reports
are few and far between through all of
the years I've been a member. The Board-O-Gram was just posted very
recently and I've saved it to ponder some
way of approach in questioning Linda K. for some words maybe in one of the
Reviews or some such, or even here
online. It is really a thought to combine the efforts as the goal is the

If the club would consider sending most of that money to LHSH for rescue I
might consider continueing to feed ProPlan . . . .
Also - and I know this will cause discussion - I was wondering about
combining the rescue groups - I would suggest for
various reasons - combining the Parent Club rescue group with Last Hope Safe
Haven and having Dawn run the group -
having worked with both groups I find more is accomplished using the LHSH
method . more dogs saved (which is the
main purpose) - more support for those of us working in the "field"? and
more people working their hearts out to locate
the dogs that need to be saved, find people to pull and transport - if you
haven't worked with them - you should - you
would find it a very rewarding experience . . .I hope this sparks
discussion - because the guys in the shelters need all the
help we can give - espically here in the South . . . Thanks for the help
