I used Exceed for years and liked it. However, I changed to Kal Kan
Pedigree as I
could get it at the feed store along with all my other large animal stuff.
I was very
pleased with it and -- what really counts -- so were all the dogs. Not
sure if I've
told everyone how I fed everyone, Boarders included (especially finicky
kids) !!
I never had even one bloat case in over 40 years. I'd put the kibble in the
bowl,
then a nice chunk of canned food (often cat food when flavor and/or certain
kinds
of ingredients are needed) and mix it up like making a salad, using two Milk
bone
biscuits and leave the biscuits in -- sort of like a garnish. Norma no

I mix Sams exceed Chicken and Rice with pro plan- good results.- I am
considering going straight to exceed when this last pallet of pro plan runs
out.- I love pro plan and the dogs do well on it but to get a good price I
have to buy a minimum of 24 bags and travel a distance to get it. Even with
the breeder checks I have to spend around $600 at a time plus a tank of gas
to get it.- I would much rather be able to buy a weeks worth at a time
