We have never taken our dogs to a dog park. Not only do we recognize that
all dogs are animals, and therefore, not ever completely predictive, but
there are so many health problems that can exist. Worms or parasites are but
one of the issues.
Find an open school yard, or a park with no other dogs. Let your dogs run
free, but never with strangers present. Not only do you have to worry
about other dogs, but there are always people to watch.
Although, I do admit that after Bully visited Candy Z for one month, he
came back as a "Charles Atlas" look alike, and no one kicked sand in his
face at the show under Miss Rita.
Some of the official old timers will remember what I mean.
