didn't know the price of kibble had gone up so much!...ten years ago I paid
$16.00 for a  40 pound case of chicken backs..now I pay 24 bucks for 40
pounds....the price of Green Tripe....$ 1.85 per pound  only if you buy 200
pounds.....do the math...ouch....FB

May I also throw BILJAC (_www.biljac.com_ (http://www.biljac.com) ) in the
hat... as a fifty  year old American family owned dog food company whose
food have never been  recalled; while not as pricey as Orijen, the Biljac
SELECT sells for approx  $48 per 35# bag locally, but breeders can order using
the breeder program and  have it delivered via UPS for approx $37 per 35# bag.
Also they have  the FROZEN beef which I would never be without for puppy
weaning and/or  adding to dry kibble in specific situations.

You have to be rich to feed Orijen in the CA Bay Area  if you have more
then 2 dogs. It is $70.00 for 30 lbs here. I tried it and if  you feed to much
it goes right through the dogs. So be careful with it. I know  several
people that have had this problem with it.
