[ SHOWGSD-L ] Dog Food scare - an alternative brand

An option if you can find it is Nutrisource dog food. This food is
manufactured at a small plant in Minnesota and has no connection to any of the
large dog food companies and their suppliers. The food is resonably priced
(around $30 for a 35 pound bag). The website is

Nice thing about this food is it was developed and tested by dog people. Bad
thing.....it might be hard to find and is not sold in any of the big pet store
chains. It is my understanding that they have no interest in producing on a
large scale so not sure that will change in the near future. It is available
on petfooddirect.com.
