[ SHOWGSD-L ] Dog Food and Pasterns

I have fed a lot of "premium" kibbles over the years,
Innova, Canidae, Eagle Pack, Canine Caviar, Royal
Canin, Natural Balance, as well as Nutro Natural
Choice, Sensible Choice, Avo Derm to name a few. I
have never had a real problem with any of them. My
dogs seemed to do fine on any one of them. We did
always add raw meat and vegies. About a year and a
half ago we switched to raw, which I like immensely,
but when Jackie died, I could not afford to feed all
raw. I still use Oma's pride Chicken or Turkey mix and
tripe, but the kibble I am using now is Innova Evo
which contains no grains. The dogs love it and the
stools are still great, almost as good as feeding raw.
If anyone is interested, Natura is the manufacturer of
Innova and several other Premium dog and cat foods. I
checked out their web site and it seems like they have
stores in many parts of the country.
I seem to remember someone mentioning a supplement to
give puppies down in pasterns and of course,
stupidly,I did not save it. If anyone has that info,
could you please forward it to me.
