I am hoping one of you out there would know the answer to this question. Â Is there any method by which the members can choose (petition?) to have an item, Â that does not include a standard or bylaws change, Â voted on by the entire membership directly without having board decide if it should or should not go out for a membership vote? Â From what I can tell, even if a petition is submitted to the board with 10% or 300 member signatures, it is still up to the board to decide to âentertainâ the petition or not, if the subject of that petition does not address a bylaws or standard change.
