The question was why have secret meetings. I say never. The IRS code says
never. Our by-laws allow it, but don't require it. Less board membes asking
for closed sessions, or private lists would be my wish for my birthday.
Be proud of what you say, what you vote on, and what your position is. If
not, pick another position, vote the other way, and keep quiet.
WE don't want closed sessions.
