Carolyn is right she did not make that statement I did. And yes I do feel that
way. If you do not live within a reasonable driving distance from a club then
you probably won't be there for the day to day operation of the club. All I am
saying is let those people who do the work and know what it takes to get things
done make the decisions as to where and when things are offered. We no longer
have fall shows in Oregon because we hold back to backs in the spring. We have
the memorial day weekend here which is a prime date. To change it to
accommodate another regional futurity would be putting that show date at risk.
The club decided it was not worth it. We do offer other things for members
through out the rest of the year.
It works for us as a club.
